Preamble
Inspired by
The Inn at the Crossroads, a blog dedicated to recreating the food mentioned in the
Game of Thrones series of novels by George R. R. Martin, I have decided to create a blog with a similar focus on the sci-fi/fantasy menu suggestions of Jack Vance.
While he never came near the popularity of Martin, the power of Vance's culinary descriptions inspired me to become a professional chef myself.
The selections will not be in any order, just which ever novel is closest to hand when embarking on a new posting.
